How it started
A new-construction plumber that grew into three trades at once
Karlsen Plumbing, Inc. was established in 1978 in Racine, WI. The focus of the company was new residential construction. Since then Karlsen Plumbing, Inc. has transformed into a multifaceted plumbing company. We now handle residential, commercial and industrial plumbing construction, service/repair and design build plumbing projects.
It still averages around 200 new homes a year as the plumbing installer for builders and general contractors, which is the work the company was built on in the first place. Expert plumbing repair with our service call system runs alongside it, out of the same shop.
The people doing that work today are the same crew you would find on a service call, a remodel, or a commercial job. One office, one licence, and the training behind it goes back to a five year apprenticeship for every journeyman here, covered in full on the training page.
